Yes, $0 upfront. On a power purchase agreement you pay nothing to have the panels and the Powerwall installed, and then you pay a rate per kilowatt-hour for the electricity the system produces. It is not free solar: you are buying the power rather than the panels. There is also a $0-down purchase option, which is financed, so that one does involve a credit check and an APR.

Under a power purchase agreement the system is owned and maintained by the provider that finances it, not by you and not by Divine Gifts Solar. You buy the electricity it makes. If you would rather own the equipment there is a $0-down purchase option, and we show you both numbers side by side.

No. With a lease you pay a fixed monthly amount regardless of production. With a power purchase agreement you pay only for the kilowatt-hours the system actually produces, at a fixed rate. If the system makes less power one month, you pay less that month.

It depends on the agreement you are offered, which is why we do not publish a figure here. What matters is that you see the year-one rate and the year-twenty rate on the same page before you sign anything. Ask for both. We go through them with you.

A power purchase agreement opens no loan, so nothing new appears on your credit report, though there is still a credit check before it is approved. A $0-down purchase is financed, so that one does appear. Lower scores still get a look either way.

A power purchase agreement is not a mortgage and is not a PACE program. Financing arrangements differ between providers, and some record a notice against the property, so ask for the answer on your specific agreement in writing before you sign. Do not accept a verbal answer on this from anyone, including us.

The agreement transfers to the buyer, who takes over the same terms. The process and any transfer fee are set by the provider, so ask them for it in writing. We help with the paperwork for the buyer and their lender.

Not on the $0-down plan. As a PPA customer you do not own the solar equipment and are not eligible to claim any federal solar tax credit. Ownership-based financing may qualify for different incentives. Consult a tax professional.

Parts, workmanship and how much power the system produces, for 25 years. It is provided by the partner company that installs your system, layered over Tesla’s own manufacturer warranty on the Powerwall, which runs for a shorter term on its own. It is their warranty rather than ours, so get the terms in writing and keep them.

Customers we place typically save between 40% and 60% on their electricity costs. That is a range, not a promise: what you save depends on your roof, your usage, your current rate plan and which agreement you take. Anyone quoting you a single guaranteed number before looking at a year of your bills is guessing. We show you the estimate for your house, with the assumptions written down, before you commit to anything.

A CSLB-licensed partner company. Divine Gifts Solar is a broker and does not install: the partner pulls the permit, installs the system, and services it afterward. Check their licence at cslb.ca.gov before you sign.

Design and permitting take a few weeks, installation is usually one to two days, and then Southern California Edison has to grant permission to operate. Edison’s timeline is the part nobody controls. We tell you where your application stands every week.

Only if the current one will not last 25 years. It gets checked before anything is designed, and you see photos of what was found. Roof evaluation and repair coordination is available through our licensed partner network if your roof needs work first; Divine Gifts Solar does not perform roofing itself.

It switches over in a fraction of a second and runs your house from stored power. A fridge, lights, and Wi-Fi can run for a day or more. Central air is the big draw, and we tell you honestly what the battery can carry for your house before you sign.

NEM 3.0 is the current California rule for what the utility pays you for solar power sent back to the grid, and it pays much less than the old rule. It is why every system we place includes a battery: storing your midday power and using it in the evening is worth far more than exporting it.

California gives you the right to cancel a home solicitation contract within three business days of signing. Before signing, there is nothing to cancel: the quote, the site check, and the design carry no commitment.
